Major: Mathematical Data Science
Minor: Computer Science

Born and raised in a small town in the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire, I gained an unyielding drive to seek challenges and embrace new opportunities. This spirit of exploration led me to develop a passion for mathematics, particularly in the realms of probability and statistics. I approach every endeavor as a lifelong learner, constantly expanding my horizons and bringing curiosity to all that I do.

Non-Gaussian Bayesian Update in High Dimensional Space for Stock Prediction

May 2024

In this project, I explore a personal approach to stock price prediction that accounts for the complexities of financial data. By focusing on a non-Gaussian, high-dimensional framework, I aim to improve prediction accuracy in a way that better reflects the unpredictable nature of the markets. The goal of this project was to experience the journey of model prediction in the financial world.

Project 6

Nuggets

October 2023

A multi-player exploration game where a central server manages the game state, while one or more clients interface with users to display the game environment. In the game, each player competes in collecting gold nuggets, with the goal of accumulating more than any other participant. The server ensures synchronized gameplay, handling player interactions and updating game states in real time across multiple clients.

Tiny Search Engine

September 2023

A simplified version of the Google search engine. The TSE contains three main components: a crawler, an indexer, and a querier. Together, these components allow the TSE to crawl web pages, index word occurrences, and retrieve URLs based on the relevance of words to the user's query. The system is designed to efficiently rank and return the most relevant URLs, providing a simple approach to web search by focusing on keyword frequency and relevance within the indexed content.

Community Detection from Betweenness Centrality Based on Random Walks

May 2023

In this project, I construct a new algorithm for identifying communities within complex networks by leveraging a random-walk based betweenness centrality concept. The primary goal of this algorithm is to find the "bridge nodes" between networks, and then detect the underlying community structures.
